I have experience working in primary schools and providing private tutoring to students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, and A-Level examinations. My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance, structure, and encouragement.

I also offer Primary English and Maths, GCSE English Literature and Language, Religious Studies, History, and Spanish, as well as A-Level History support and exam preparation.

In my lessons, I focus on identifying both strengths and areas for improvement so that students can build confidence while also developing the skills they find more challenging. Each session is carefully planned and highly detailed, ensuring that students gain a strong understanding of both subject content and exam technique. I place particular emphasis on helping students learn how to approach questions effectively, manage their time, and apply their knowledge with confidence in exams.

The format of my lessons is flexible and adapted to the student’s goals. I use a combination of explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and interactive discussion to keep lessons engaging and productive. I also regularly review progress to make sure students are improving steadily and feeling more confident in their abilities.

Above all, I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to help students become more independent, motivated, and confident learners.
