Data obtained when booking a class: When you book a class through the Platform, we collect:

Data obtained when uploading credit to the Platform: When you upload credit for classes through the Website, we collect:

Your credit card details. For your security, we have entrusted the payment system by credit or debit card to a secure payment gateway. The bank details entered are encrypted and securely transmitted to the bank's servers and are subsequently verified with the issuing bank to prevent possible fraud and abuse.

Teacher Data:

Data obtained when registering as a Teacher: When you register as a Teacher on the Platform, we collect:

Data obtained when posting offers: When you complete your profile as a Teacher on the Platform to post ads, we collect:

  • Name

  • Mobile phone number
  • Presentation video
  • Any information you wish to provide us voluntarily

Data obtained when verifying the account as a Teacher: When you verify yourself as a Teacher on the Platform, we collect:

Your credit card details. For your security, we have entrusted the payment system by credit or debit card to a secure payment gateway. Data obtained when contacting us and responding to your queries and/or requests: When you contact us through the means provided on the Platform, we collect: Any data that you voluntarily provide through the forms provided and/or by phone and/or email including your full name, email address and mobile phone number. In the event that you have personal data through the aforementioned means of contact, they will be treated in accordance with this privacy policy.

You guarantee that all data about your identity and legitimacy provided to FindTutors through the Platform are true, accurate and complete. Likewise, you agree to keep your data updated. In the event that you provide any false, inaccurate or incomplete data or if FindTutors considers that there are well-founded reasons to doubt the veracity, accuracy and integrity of the same, FindTutors may deny you present or future access and use of the Platform or any of its contents and/or services.

 

Likewise, the User must safeguard the identification password to make use of the services provided on the Platform, and undertakes not to assign its use to third parties.

In the event that you want to contract the services offered through the Platform as a user, you must create a profile and enter your contact information as the person responsible for the account. Those responsible may be the students themselves or their parents/legal guardians, as appropriate. When the parents/legal guardians are responsible, they must include their full name, telephone number, email address and date of birth.

 

In any case, we reserve the right to decide whether or not to include personal data and other information in our databases.

 

The provision of Personal Data requires a minimum age of 18 years old or, where applicable, sufficient legal capacity to enter into a contract.

In the case of Platform Users:

In the case of Platform students:

  • To be able to identify you for the bookings you have made in order to use the services offered on the Platform by the teachers.

  • Provide a means for you to post advertisements on the Platform.
  • Respond to your questions and/or requests.

In the case of teachers of the Platform:

  • Complete the registration and validate your profile, to obtain greater visibility.
  • Identify you as a teacher and be able to give you access to the different functionalities that are available to you as a registered teacher.
  • Provide a means for you to post advertisements on the Platform.
  • Respond to your questions and/or requests.

In the case of Platform Academies:

  • Identify you as an Academy and be able to give you access to the different functionalities that are available to you as a registered teacher.
  • Provide a means for you to post advertisements on the Platform.
  • Respond to your questions and/or requests.

Other purposes related to the use of the Platform:

  • The sending of promotions and publicity related to the products and services that may be of interest to you (newsletter sending), with your express consent.
  • Manage and monitor the contractual and pre-contractual relationship that is maintained with the users of the Platform.
  • Improve, develop and test our Platform.
  • Protect the rights, property and/or safety of FindTutors.
  • In the case of the platform's internal messaging service between teachers and students, to send notifications about the reception of said message, as well as the person who has sent the aforementioned message.

Registering on the Platform can be done by synchronising with third-party services (log in with a Facebook or Google account). If you follow a link to these websites, please be aware that you share your profile information with us. The personal data shared depends on the settings of your Facebook or Google Platform. The data we collect from your profile is your email, phone number and photo (if you have them configured in your profile), first and last name, gender, date of birth and city of residence.

7. Conservation of your personal data

We will only keep your Personal Data for the period of time that we need for the purpose for which we treat them, until your account is deleted or during the period of time legally established for it.

 

When you delete your account, we delete the content you have posted, as well as photos and videos. In any case, your data could be kept by legal imperative, for the established period of time, however, such data will be blocked. In contrast, information shared about you by other people will not be deleted, as it is not part of your account.

 

The Personal Data obtained through the registration and enrolment on the Platform, those obtained through a query through the contact form and through the purchase form will be kept until the service is performed or during the time it takes to resolve your inquiry. In the case of receiving your CV, your data may be kept for a maximum year for future selection processes.

 

We may retain some personal data to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, as well as to administer our rights (for example, to assert our claims in Court) or for statistical or historical purposes.

 

When we no longer need to use your personal data, it will be removed from our systems and records or anonymized so that we can no longer identify it.
