Roya Nami-Hussain

A-level Spanish student who is predicted an A* and achieved a grade 9 in GCSE, with a strong understanding of what examiners are looking for. I help students build confidence in speaking, improve grammar and vocabulary, and master exam techniques for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. My lessons are supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I particularly hone in on skills that tend to be weaker such as speaking and listening, where students often lose marks. I intend to help relieve the anxiety that students often face around the oral exam by regularly practicing speaking activities with them. I also intend to foster an engaging environment with fun lessons where we learn through music, film and literature, encouraging passion for not just the vocabulary and grammar but also the culture.
