Gabriela Chimbo

Hi! I'm Gabriela, a native Spanish speaker who is also fluent in English, and I'd love to help you on your journey to learning Spanish!

I know what it's like to learn a completely new language. When I first moved to the UK, I had a private tutor who helped me understand English and become more confident speaking it. I still remember how much of a difference their patience and encouragement made, and I'd love to offer that same support to others.

I currently work with young people, supporting their learning, confidence and independence. This has taught me that everyone learns differently, and sometimes all someone needs is a little patience, encouragement and the right approach.

Although I'm new to tutoring Spanish, I'm genuinely excited to share my language and help others enjoy learning it!

My lessons will be relaxed, interactive and adapted to your interests and goals. Whether you're a complete beginner, learning Spanish for travelling, hoping to improve your conversational skills or simply wanting to try something new, I'd love to help.

We'll start by getting to know each other and discussing what you'd like to achieve. From there, we can explore everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, simple grammar and practical conversations. I'd also love to include fun activities and real-life situations to make learning more enjoyable.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at your own pace. I believe that building confidence is just as important as learning new words!

My goal is to make Spanish lessons something you genuinely look forward to, while helping you recognise your progress along the way.

I look forward to meeting you and hopefully helping you discover how enjoyable learning Spanish can be!
