I’m a GCSE Spanish tutor who achieved a grade 9, with a strong understanding of what examiners are looking for.

I teach by explaining topics clearly, practising key exam skills, and using past paper questions to build confidence. Lessons are tailored to each student, with a focus on grammar, vocabulary, and exam technique. I like to hone in on skills that tend to be weaker such as speaking and listening as these are where students often lose more marks. The oral exam tends to make students anxious, and I intend to relieve this stress by helping them practice their speaking on a regular basis. I also strive to make lessons fun and engaging by using music, film and literature to foster a real passion and love not just for vocabulary learning but also for learning about the culture.
