My sessions offer far more than a standard yoga class. Drawing from my training as a Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Personal Trainer, I create personalised experiences that combine movement, breathwork, mindfulness, posture, mobility, nervous system regulation and therapeutic practices to support both physical and mental wellbeing.
My approach is deeply client-centred, clinically informed and grounded in modern neuroscience, medical science, psychology, psychotherapy-informed approaches, traditional yoga philosophy and mindfulness practices inspired by the Theravada Buddhist tradition. Sessions may include yoga postures, therapeutic movement, strength and mobility work, breath regulation techniques, relaxation practices, meditation, chanting, mantra, mudra and guided mindfulness practices, all carefully adapted to the individual’s goals, health considerations and life circumstances.
Thanks to my specialist Yoga Therapy training through The Minded Institute, I am able to work with a broad range of non-communicable physical and mental health conditions in a safe, evidence-informed and highly personalised way. This may include support for stress, anxiety, low mood, chronic pain, low back pain, burnout, posture-related tension, mobility restrictions, nervous system dysregulation, fatigue and general wellbeing.
I work with complete beginners through to experienced practitioners, and I particularly enjoy helping people reconnect with their bodies, feel safer within themselves, improve resilience, develop sustainable wellbeing practices and discover that movement, breath and mindfulness can become powerful tools for healing, balance and long-term transformation.
My goal is not simply to teach yoga poses, but to help students feel calmer, stronger, more empowered and more connected to themselves through an integrative approach that honours both ancient wisdom traditions and modern evidence-based understanding of health and wellbeing.
