Anoushka has been practising yoga since 2015, initially as a complement to her dance training. Having experienced its profound effects on her physical and mental wellbeing, yoga has gradually come to occupy a more central place in her life. This led her to complete a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in 2023, followed by a 50-hour Assists and Adjustments qualification in 2024. She now has two years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels of experience in community settings across London.
Alongside her yoga teaching, Anoushka is a contemporary dancer and teacher. Through her work across these disciplines, she has developed a particular curiosity about the healing potential of movement. Drawing on tools from a range of movement practices, she hopes to nurture a sensitive yet empowered awareness of the body in her classes.
Anoushka seeks to create environments that cultivate care and challenge in equal measure. Her classes centre on playful physical exploration, inviting students to find pleasure in movement while offering opportunities to refine small details, develop strength and deepen bodily awareness. Weaving her dance background together with her Vinyasa training, she brings creativity, challenge, strength, breath and deep rest into her sequencing. Her classes can be tailored to be delivered online or in person in private and group settings.
