Each lesson is personalised to suit the student’s learning style, syllabus and individual areas for improvement. I adapt my teaching to address gaps in knowledge while ensuring that all relevant course content is covered thoroughly.

Content and essay-writing skills are generally taught in separate lessons, allowing students to develop a secure understanding of the topic before applying their knowledge to exam questions. Writing-focused lessons cover essay structure, source analysis, argument development and exam technique.

I also provide carefully selected resources for students to read and review independently. I expect students to engage with these materials, as completing this preparation helps them gain the greatest possible benefit from our lessons and make consistent progress.
