The conclusion is undeniable: AI is no longer an emerging trend but an increasingly integral part of the educational system. We found a strong and unified demand for transformative changes across education: from the skills taught at school to the technologies utilised to how learning is assessed and accessed. The imperative for education to advance in tandem with technological progress is clear.

In the past, parents and teachers were showing concerns about integrating technology at school. In 2025, these initial reluctances have given way to a focus on the responsible use of online tools. Misinformation and excessive screen time could become an issue for children learning online, leading teachers to ask for AI-training.

Key takeaways from our Education Report

Technology and AI are gaining ground in the education landscape

The development of AI is challenging education: 22% of teachers believe that subjects such as computer science are not fit for the future anymore and should be replaced by other skills that could be more useful for students' future careers.

In the UK, 56% of parents think their children spend too much time on devices while 47% admit to using them to do their homework. The always-online generation is progressively leading to the decline of traditional education.

With 70% of teachers in the UK predicting a central role of AI in their students' professional careers, they recommend the integration of technology into schools.

A note from Albert Clemente

Historically slow to change, education has recently been thrust into a rapid transformation. The COVID-19 pandemic marked its beginning, and new technologies such as AI represent its logical continuation.

Our 2025 Education Report, based on studies conducted across Europe, reveals that students show a special interest in future-oriented subjects like AI and appear ready to integrate technology into their everyday school lives.

On the parents' and teachers' side, there is also a growing demand for personalised learning experiences that blend online and offline teaching methods.

The next generation has new needs to prepare for their future, and we need to work collaboratively to satisfy them.

At FindTutors, we are focusing our efforts on offering the best and most up-to-date technologies to our community of teachers and students.
