Online History Tutoring for IGCSE and IBDP Students by Experienced Educator

Hello! My aim is to help you become a confident, independent learner who understands your subjects and feels prepared for examinations. With over 18 years of teaching experience in Cambridge and IB schools in India, I currently offer online and in-person tutoring for Grades 8–12. Most of my students are preparing for IGCSE or IBDP examinations. I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, including Korean, Chinese and Indian students. I hold an ESL teaching qualification from the University of South Australia and have worked as an MYP Integrated Humanities examiner and an IBDP History examiner. I teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL), History, Global Perspectives, Global Politics, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Integrated Humanities. My experience ranges from Social Sciences in Grades 6–10 to IGCSE and IBDP subjects, with a strong focus on examination preparation. How do I work with students? I begin by understanding your needs, existing skills, learning style and level of proficiency. I then develop personalised strategies to address learning gaps and build on your strengths. Our lessons focus on understanding concepts, developing critical thinking, improving essay writing and learning how to answer examination questions effectively. I provide clear explanations, guided practice and constructive feedback to help you improve. My teaching style is supportive but structured. I encourage you to ask questions, learn from mistakes and develop the confidence to think independently. My goal is to help you not only succeed in your examinations but also develop the skills and confidence to become a more capable learner. I look forward to working with you!
