I am an experienced A-level, and International Baccalaureate level History teacher, aged 76, who loves teaching and has also been an examiner and assessor for the Cambridge Board, so I know what examiners, markers, and others are looking for from students. I am a keen cyclist, guitarist, and singer. I like reading, gardening, and cooking. I am married with three grown-up children and live in Marple, on the edge of the Peak District.

I have taught a wide variety of historical topics and courses. I have a lot of teaching resources on my computer. My specialism is the history of Imperialism.
