I am a tutor with a strong passion for modern History, aiming to help High School children pass their exams.

I’m an A-level History tutor who achieved an A grade, with strong subject expertise in Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, World War I, and World War II. I have a clear understanding of what exam boards are looking for and how to help students access top marks. My lessons are exam-focused and highly structured, breaking down complex topics into clear explanations that build real understanding. I use active recall and targeted questioning to reinforce knowledge and ensure students can apply it confidently in exams. I place particular emphasis on essay writing, helping students plan, structure, and develop strong, evidence-based arguments that directly answer the question. I also support source analysis, exam technique, and time management. I aim to build confidence, clarity, and consistency, tailoring each lesson to the student’s needs so they feel prepared and in control going into assessments.
