I am a Chemistry PhD student who teaches Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Physics at GCSE level and below.

I understand from firsthand experience how daunting getting a tutor is for both the parent and the student. To alleviate this, my teaching style is personally tailored to the learning style of the student. Providing a safe space to think out loud and explain their reasoning, or asking questions that they may not feel confident asking in class at school. I have found through my over 1 year of private tutoring experience, this method yielded the most effective and productive learning experience for the students, with one of my previous students going up from a 5 in mathematics to scoring an 8 in their GCSE. Lessons with me are dedicated to you as a student and you alone. I encourage active participation from the student, as this ensures engagement and learning. This is your time!
