piano / music theory for all age student - online/in person

I am a dedicated piano tutor offering in-person lessons locally and online ABRSM Music Theory coaching. I hold an ABRSM Grade 8 Piano certificate (Distinction) and received systematic training under the Head of Piano Department at the Junior School of Shenyang Conservatory of Music since I was 5 years old.

Alongside piano, I have over 10 years of choral experience as an alto with Strathclyde Chamber Choir and previously Huddersfield Choral Society, including a performance at the BBC Proms in 2023 with Huddersfield Choral Society.

Since 2024, I have been teaching beginner piano students, with many achieving excellent ABRSM results (high Merit and above) and prize-winning performances at the 2026 Glasgow Music Festival (Grades 1–4).

I also specialise in ABRSM Grade 5 Theory intensive courses, typically completed within 10–15 lessons (most students finish in 10), with consistently high results (high Merit and above).

My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student, combining enjoyment with strong discipline in technique and musical detail. I am particularly experienced in working with children and beginners, helping them build confidence and good practice habits from the start.
