English Tutor- currently studying English at Royal Holloway University of London

Hi! My name is Sofia. I’m currently studying English Literature at Royal Holloway university and am incredibly passionate about writing and reading. My goal is to boost your confidence in English, to write creatively, and to structure essays exam style. I’m also very passionate about poetry, as I feel it is an excellent way to express yourself. When I was nine, I read the entire Harry Potter book series, and found myself obsessed with the creativity of the books, and the way it transported me to another world. This is what I’d like to do in my future, I’d love to write to evoke feeling and emotion as I think that’s what makes a book so enjoyable. As your tutor, I promise to support you in a judgement free zone; to allow you to express creatively within your writing, and to make sure English becomes an enjoyable subject for you by adding in creative activities to our sessions to really allow you to express yourself. For me, English has a wide range of topics to cover, particularly to ace exams, but I want to help you break that down and learn in a positive, stress free environment!
