To ensure you get the most out of our sessions, we will initially establish areas that need improvement, and where you feel like a confidence boost is needed. From this, lessons will be based off of feedback and development in learning. I have previous experience tutoring English Language and Literature GCSE over the past two years- with very promising results from grades 6-9! The key focus for me, is that my students feel comfortable enough to ask questions, challenge ideas and ask for help when needed. I will base your sessions off of your exam board needs, and of course your own method of learning (once established). I’m very much aware of the amount of revision you will be completing within school (if applicable), so i’ll be setting reasonable, enjoyable and relaxing homework pieces that allow you to excel in confidence! I’m always open to feedback and advice so if something isn’t working for you, i’m more than happy to adapt to your needs. If you're after a boost in the English language in general, then I am also available for this. I am currently at university, with a flexible schedule to meet your needs. As your tutor, I promise to support you in a judgement free zone; to allow you to express creatively within your writing, and to make sure English becomes an enjoyable subject for you by adding in creative activities to our sessions to really allow you to express yourself.
