Experienced Chemistry Tutor | A* A Level Achiever | Personalised Lessons and Exam Preparation

Advert description
I am an experienced tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, specialising in GCSE, National 5, Higher and A Level Chemistry. Currently studying Economics at the University of Edinburgh, I achieved an A\* in A Level Chemistry and have a strong academic background in the sciences.

My lessons focus on developing a clear understanding of chemical concepts, strengthening problem-solving skills and improving exam technique. Each session is tailored to the student's ability and goals, using worked examples and past papers to build confidence and achieve strong results.

All lessons are delivered online via Microsoft Teams although I am happy to meet in-person if mutually convenient.

Tom was a brilliant tutor for my daughter during her National 5 Maths. He really helped build her confidence and made the lessons enjoyable, which made such a difference. She always came away feeling more positive and much more confident with the topics she'd covered. I couldn't recommend Tom enough. He's patient, explains things clearly, and genuinely cares about helping his students do well. Thank you, Tom!

Tom has been an excellent maths tutor for my son over the past year. From the very first lesson, his confidence improved noticeably, and it has continued to grow ever since. Tom explains difficult topics clearly, is patient and encouraging, and has helped my son develop both his understanding of Higher Maths and his confidence in approaching challenging questions. We are delighted with the progress he has made and would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive maths tutor.
