Advert description
How I will teach
I am 21, so I remember what GCSE and A-Level revision feels like and what students actually find difficult. I am very laid back, so my lessons will feel more like a chat with a friend who happens to know chemistry than a formal classroom. Students can ask anything, get things wrong and try again without feeling judged, which is when people learn best.
I know the best way to revise for GCSE and A-Level, because I did well in both and went on to win the Jeremy Fullbrook Award for the highest Organic Chemistry score in my year group at university. I will show students how to break topics into small steps, practise exam questions and spot the mistakes that cost marks. I will adapt each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, helping with homework, coursework and exam preparation, and keeping it relaxed enough that they build real confidence.
