Aary

Hi, I’m Aaryan, a 21-year-old Chemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham.

I sat my GCSEs and A-Levels relatively recently, so I know what the exams are like and which topics students find tricky. I got a 9 in GCSE Chemistry and an A in A-Level Chemistry, and I finished my degree with First Class Honours. I also won the Jeremy Fullbrook Award for the highest Organic Chemistry score across my whole year group. I have worked out how to revise for chemistry and how to pick up marks in exams, and I’ll teach you the same methods.

What my lessons are like

My lessons are relaxed and friendly. I’m chatty and easy going, so there’s no pressure, and you can ask anything, however basic, and get things wrong while you learn. I would rather you were comfortable and understood the material than sat there nervous.

Format

We start by working out where you are and what you want, whether that’s a better grade, help with one topic, or keeping up with school. Each lesson then follows what you need:

Going through topics step by step in plain language, until they make sense.
Working through exam-style questions together, so you learn how to structure answers and avoid the mistakes that lose marks.
Help with homework and coursework.
Revision planning and techniques that work.

Lessons can be online or face to face, and I adapt the pace and style to the student, whether you learn best from diagrams, worked examples or talking it through.

My aim is for you to leave each lesson understanding more, feeling more confident, and maybe finding chemistry more interesting than you expected.
