Ye Liang

I am Ye Liang, currently studying Business Management at the University of Southampton in the UK.Once nearly achieved a full score in Chinese in the Chinese high school entrance examination and also obtained an A* in A-level Chinese.As a Chinese native speaker deeply familiar with the essence of Chinese culture, I have always been committed to Chinese language education and cultural promotion. My study experience in the UK has given me a cross-cultural perspective, allowing me not only to understand the learning difficulties faced by non-native speakers but also to present the charm of Chinese in an engaging and interesting way.

I possess a solid foundation in linguistics and practical teaching skills. I hope to leverage my in-depth understanding of both Chinese and English cultures to build a bridge for language learning, enabling every student to experience the beauty of Chinese through interaction.I will conduct one-on-one online lessons, and after each class, I may assign some homework as appropriate. I will tailor the teaching according to the student’s knowledge level, whether basic, advanced, or even specialized.

From everyday Chinese expressions to idioms and proverbs, complex vocabulary usage, studies of classical Chinese texts and their meanings, I can provide detailed instruction. I am also capable of teaching for exams such as A-levels. I will guide students from pinyin to proficient listening, speaking, reading, and writing, helping them form a clear understanding and framework in their minds.
