Welcome! I'm Anthony, a dedicated Mandarin instructor passionate about helping students achieve their Chinese language goals through personalised, engaging instruction. I won't force you to speak only Chinese in class—when you encounter unfamiliar vocabulary or grammar, I'll explain it in English to ensure clarity. I carefully tailor each lesson to meet your individual needs, creating my own teaching materials based on your interests, strengths, and areas for improvement. My lessons encompass all aspects of language acquisition—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—with particular emphasis on building conversational confidence in a patient, encouraging atmosphere where mistakes are valuable learning opportunities for growth.

I have had the privilege of providing Mandarin training to various UK public sector organisations, including the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), UK Export Finance (UKEF), National Crime Agency (NCA). This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of how to deliver professional language instruction that meets exacting standards.
