Kun Xu

My name is Xu Kun (??), and I’m from Shanghai, China.I like to call myself a language tutor, a cultural explorer and a Qigong practitioner. My educational background includes an MFA in Acting Coaching and an MBA. I have delivered 20000 hours individual coaching program , also I am lecturer at Universities for Chinese culture or doing business in China.
For over 20 years, I’ve been teaching and coaching the Chinese language, introducing Chinese culture, and working in business communication for individuals, executives, and university students. I’m also an acting teacher at a drama school, where I integrate voice, body, and emotion into language expression.Challenges often mentioned by my students are writting and prononciation, I propose don’t fight against our memories or muscles, but support our memories and body. I will stay aside with you and turn challenges into fun exercises, and games. To me, a language learning journey is not only about vocabulary and grammar—it’s also about curiosity, and life. Together, we’ll explore a wide range of topics, exercises and activities: myths and philosophy, food, body and mind, etiquette, daily life, movies, music, and creative writing.
