Hi, I'm Tanya - an enthusiastic, friendly, and patient tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching both in-person and online.
I hold a BSc in Chemistry and Biology, and in 2023, I was awarded British Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
I have experience working with students with special educational needs, as well as hands-on laboratory experience.
I'm happy to support anyone struggling with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, or GCSE Russian.

- Mathematics: KS2, KS3, KS4 up to GCSE
- Chemistry: KS3, KS4, and GCSE
- Biology: KS3, KS4 up to GCSE
- Russian Language: KS2, KS3, KS4, GCSE, A-level, university level, and for children and adults
I tailor each lesson to meet your individual needs and continuously reflect on our sessions to make future learning even more effective.
With a friendly and supportive approach, I aim to build your knowledge and confidence step by step.
In our lessons, I’ll first demonstrate how to solve a problem, then guide you as you practice it yourself - making sure you feel comfortable and capable.
I use a mix of student books, workbooks, tests, and an interactive whiteboard to keep lessons engaging and clear.
You’ll also have access to up-to-date resources, including revision guides and past exam questions, which I’m happy to share with you.
I can assign homework tailored to your goals and always provide detailed, constructive feedback.
I have experience with OCR, AQA, and Edexcel exam boards, and I offer targeted support to help you prepare effectively for school tests and GCSE exams.
