Hi, I'm Tanya - an enthusiastic, friendly, and patient tutor with over 10 years of experience teaching both in-person and online.
I hold a BSc in Chemistry and Biology, and in 2023, I was awarded British Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
I have experience working with students with special educational needs, as well as hands-on laboratory experience.
I'm happy to support anyone struggling with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics or GCSE Russian.
I have experience tutoring in the following subjects:
- Mathematics: KS2, KS3, KS4 up to GCSE
- Chemistry: KS3, KS4, and GCSE
- Biology: KS3, KS4 up to GCSE
- Russian Language: KS2, KS3, KS4, GCSE, A-level, university level, and for children and adults
Approach to Tutoring:
I use up-to-date resources, including workbooks, revision guides, and past exam questions, which we’ll go through together at your pace. I’m always happy to share these materials to help you feel confident and prepared.
I can set homework tailored to your needs and provide detailed feedback afterwards, so you know exactly where you're improving and what to focus on next.
Whether you're preparing for school tests or just want to strengthen your understanding, I’ll be here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.
I have experience with the ISEB 13+, AQA, and Edexcel exam boards, offering resources and guidance for effective exam preparation.
Many of my previous tutees have significantly improved their school grades and achieved excellent results in their GCSE exams - and I’d love to help you do the same!
