Edmund Otang Abi

Hello! My name is Edmund Otang Abi, and I am a Pharmacist with a genuine passion for teaching, learning and helping students achieve their full academic potential.

With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have supported learners of different ages, abilities and academic backgrounds. I teach French, Mathematics and Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics, across various levels and international curricula, including GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level.

My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive and results-oriented. I believe every student can excel when given the right guidance, encouragement and learning environment. I adapt my lessons to individual learning styles, identify knowledge gaps and explain challenging concepts in simple, practical and relatable ways.

My lessons combine clear explanations, guided practice, problem-solving activities and examination-style questions. I also encourage students to ask questions, think independently and develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar problems. For examination candidates, I place particular emphasis on understanding mark schemes, improving answering techniques and building effective revision strategies.

My background in Pharmacy provides a strong scientific foundation, particularly in Biology and Chemistry, while my passion for languages makes teaching French equally rewarding.
