I don't like being called "Miss" - I love to keep lessons friendly, casual and get to know the student and their hobbies and interests beyond academia!
My availability is very flexible as a graduate - I have most days free as well as weekends, and can work last minute changes well to accomodate for busy schedules and needs.
In terms of personality- I am a brown belt in karate, who enjoy listening to music and travelling!
My basic 1 hour lesson structure includes:
- Starting with a chat about the past week (5 mins)
- Going through previous homework which has been sent and marked prior to the lesson (10 mins)
- Working on a new topic / strengthening the topic completed for homework (35 mins)
- This includes going through worked examples on the whiteboard and completing and marking worksheets
-Playing a fun and age-appropriate game related to the work done in the lesson e.g. the Wordle, Times Tables Rockstars (10 mins)
I am willing to give you as much information about myself as possible to ensure that you feel happy that your child is in good hands!
