English Tutor offering lessons for students aged 5-15

I have been tutoring for 5 years in total - both in person and online, and both in groups and in 1-2-1 sessions.
I have experience tutoring Mathematics, English, Science, Psychology and Spanish up to GCSE standard.
I also specialise in 11+ and ESOL courses.

I have the ability to bond and have a friendly relationship with the student, as well as be able to maintain discipline in lessons. I don't like being called "Miss" - I love to keep lessons friendly, casual and get to know the student and their hobbies and interests!

My availability is fairly flexible as a graduate - I have most days free as well as weekends, and can work last minute changes well.

In terms of personality- I am a brown belt in karate, who enjoy listening to music and travelling!

My basic 1 hour lesson structure includes:

- Starting with a chat about the past week (5 mins)
- Going through previous homework which has been sent and marked prior to the lesson (10 mins)
- Working on a new topic / strengthening the topic completed for homework (35 mins)
- This includes watching fun vieos, going through worked examples on the whiteboard and completing and marking worksheets
- Playing a fun game related to the lesson's learning - e.g. the Wordle, Times Tables Rockstars (10 mins)
