Online English tutor providing English as a Foreign Langauge for adults

I have been tutoring for 5 years in total - both in person and online, and both in groups and in 1-2-1 sessions.
I have experience tutoring Mathematics, English, Science, Psychology and Spanish up to GCSE standard.

I specialise in ESOL courses.

I have the ability to bond and have a friendly relationship with the student, tailoring my communication style for adults. I don't like being called "Miss" - I love to keep lessons friendly, casual and get to know the person beyond their educational needs.

My availability is fairly flexible as a graduate - I have most days free as well as weekends, and can work last minute changes well.

My basic 1 hour lesson structure includes:

- Starting with a chat about the past week (5 mins)
- Going through previous homework which has been sent and marked prior to the lesson (10 mins)
- Working on a new topic / strengthening the topic completed for homework (35 mins)
- This includes going through worked examples on the whiteboard and completing and marking worksheets
- Having a contextual conversation in English to support learning (e.g. applying a conversation to the bank)
