I achieved a Grade 9 in IGCSE Edexcel Chemistry and an A* in OCR A-Level Chemistry, and I would like to use my knowledge and experience to help other students feel more confident in the subject. My tutoring approach focuses on identifying and strengthening areas of weakness. I believe that every student learns differently, so I will adapt my explanations until the student fully understands each concept. Chemistry can often feel abstract, but I aim to make it more approachable by breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps.

Repetition will play a key role in my teaching method, as consistent practice helps reinforce understanding and improve long-term memory. I will regularly revisit key topics and ensure that the student is able to apply their knowledge rather than simply memorise it. Alongside teaching content, I will also go through past exam questions to familiarise the student with different question styles and marking expectations. By analysing these questions together, I will highlight the key points that examiners look for, such as specific terminology, calculations, and logical reasoning in written answers.

Ultimately, my goal as a tutor is to help the student gain both accuracy and confidence. Through patient explanation, targeted repetition, and focused exam practice, I will ensure they develop a clear and thorough understanding of Chemistry. I hope to create a supportive learning environment where the student feels comfortable asking questions and motivated to achieve their best possible results. I aim to make each session engaging, personalised, and focused on measurable progress.
