I have previously taught year 4’s maths and have tutored in iGCSE English and iGCSE chemistry so I have experience with teaching a range of ages.
I’m most interested in tutoring history and classical civilisation, I am doing an ancient history degree so am well versed in both subjects from ks3 all the way up to a level.
Online lessons would be most favourable to ensure that I can schedule them around students own schedules, I have a high level of IT skill and experience to ensure these run smoothly and efficiently.
Particularly aimed at students doing history or classical civilisation for the first time, or have particular struggles with revision and understanding outside of the classroom. I am able to break down difficult concepts to a range of ages, and can suggest different methods of revision so that students can maximise their potential within that subject.
I got an a* in my history coursework at a level, and as I am taking a predominantly essay-assessed subject at university I am confident I can help students with both their coursework and practice essay questions.
