Nikol Krejci

My lessons are friendly, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. As a First-Class Biochemistry graduate from Oxford and a Scholar of Corpus Christi College, with over six years of tutoring experience, I aim to share not only my knowledge but also my passion for learning. I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as memorising facts, and I enjoy guiding students to those “aha” moments where everything clicks.

During my degree, I completed a wide range of academic projects across molecular biology, genetics, metabolism, immunology, and biophysics, including extended research-based coursework and laboratory projects. These involved data analysis, scientific writing, critical evaluation of research papers, and independent investigation of complex biological systems. This experience allows me to support students not only with exam content, but also with coursework, dissertations, lab reports, and research skills at university level.

Each session begins by identifying the student’s goals and any areas they find challenging. I then adapt the lesson to suit their learning style, using clear explanations, real-world examples, problem-solving, and active questioning. Lessons may include revising key concepts, working through exam questions, developing scientific writing skills, preparing for interviews, or strengthening critical thinking.

I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths from primary level through to GCSE, A-Level, and IB, and provide university-level tutoring in subjects such as Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Molecular Biology, and Metabolism. I also offer specialist support for Oxbridge and top UK university applications, including personal statements, interview preparation, admissions test practice, and introductory courses to Biochemistry or Biomedical Sciences for prospective students.

My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident, motivated, and curious about their subject. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically.
