Each lesson starts with understanding exactly where you are and what you need, whether that's building foundational knowledge, improving essay technique, or preparing for a specific exam board. From there, I structure sessions around your syllabus, breaking down complex topics into clear, memorable ideas and focusing on the skills examiners actually reward: strong arguments, sharp analysis, and confident use of evidence.

I believe history is at its best when it feels like a story, not a list of facts to memorise, and I try to bring that energy into every session. Whether we're working through source analysis, past papers, or coursework, I'll adapt my approach to how you learn best, keeping things interactive and encouraging you to think critically rather than just recall information. I'm particularly comfortable with modern world history, including 20th-century conflicts and political change, but I am very happy to adapt to whichever topics or periods your syllabus covers, ensuring nothing feels overwhelming and every session builds on the last.

Lessons can be delivered online or in person across London, with flexible scheduling to fit around your commitments. My goal is simple: to help you feel more confident in history, achieve the grades you're aiming for, and maybe even enjoy the subject as much as I do.
