My Biology lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I start by understanding the student’s current level, syllabus, areas of difficulty and learning goals, and then create lessons that focus on building both knowledge and confidence.

I believe Biology is much easier when students understand the logic behind a concept rather than simply memorising facts. I therefore use clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples and practical applications to break down complex topics into simple and manageable steps.

A typical lesson includes a review of previous topics, explanation of new concepts, interactive questions and exam-style practice. For GCSE and A-Level students, I also focus on past-paper questions, mark schemes, key terminology and exam techniques to help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for.

With my strong scientific and research background, I can also help students connect classroom Biology with real-world science and develop analytical and problem-solving skills.

Most importantly, I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
