Advert description
I use a clear, structured and student-focused approach to teaching Biology. I begin by understanding each student’s current level, areas of difficulty and academic goals, then tailor lessons accordingly. I explain complex biological concepts in simple language using diagrams, real-life examples and practical applications to make them easier to understand and remember.
My lessons combine concept-based learning with exam-focused preparation. I use practice questions, past papers, quizzes and regular revision to identify knowledge gaps and improve exam technique. I encourage students to ask questions and develop a genuine understanding of the subject rather than relying only on memorisation.
I have a strong academic and scientific background, with experience in research, intellectual property and working with scientific and technical innovations. This enables me to connect textbook Biology with real-world science and applications. My key strengths include simplifying complex topics, analytical thinking, clear communication, patience and adapting my teaching style to suit individual students.
I can support students with Biology at secondary school, GCSE and A-Level, including exam preparation, revision, homework and building confidence in challenging topics.
