Anastasija Gorlanova

My name is Anastasija, I have a Zoology degree from the University of Aberdeen, and I'm currently studying for a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln. I'm passionate about animals, the natural world and helping others feel more confident in biology.

I have several years of teaching experiences in different settings, particularly sports coaching. I've also led classroom sessions during my degree and was a zoology museum tour guide. I welcome students studying in the Scottish National 4/5, higher and advanced higher as well as those taking English school qualifications such as GCSEs and A Levels. I am also happy to support college and university students.

Sessions are usually one hour long however if longer sessions are needed then this can be discussed. I will take the time an patience to learn how you learn best and tailor material and explanations to suit you, whether you prefer visual or written resources.

Whether you want to strengthen your understanding of a topic, work though course work or prepare for exams, I would love to help you with it! My aim is to create a welcoming, patient space where you can ask questions and build your confidence in biology.
