Enthusiastic Biology Tutor for Scottish and English Students: Building Confidence in Biology

Hi, I’m Anastasija, a Zoology graduate from the University of Aberdeen, currently completing a Master’s in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln.

I tutor Biology across both the Scottish and English systems: National 4/5, Higher and Advanced Higher, as well as GCSE and A-level. Having grown up in Scotland and gone through the system myself, I know first-hand what’s expected. I also welcome college and university students.

I have six years of experience coaching and teaching a variety of ages and ability levels, which has taught me to explain things clearly and adapt to how each person learns. I also completed a university module on teaching biology in schools.

Whether you need exam preparation, regular support with the content or help understanding difficult concepts, I’m happy to help! Sessions usually last an hour and are interactive. I take time to understand how you learn best and provide visual or written materials to suit you. There is also time for independent work, such as combining concepts to answer exam-style questions if this is our aim, so you build confidence working on your own.

My aim is to build your confidence in the Biology and share my passion and enthusiasm to a field I love.
