For the first lesson:
Students will be expected to complete various problems so I can identify their current level and areas they may need help on.

Next lessons action plan:
1.Warm up questions (5-10 minutes)

2.Teaching one main topic per lesson (20-25 minutes) e.g word problems, fractions, ratios, probability etc.

3.Extra guided practice (25 minutes) which involves doing questions that get progressively harder. This will involve exam style questions which I will mark.

Homework based off of lesson topic which can either be sent to me as an image or typed onto a Google doc (I recommend using paper as it mimics a more exam style scenario).

My lessons are typically created on Google slides for each topic where I will go through topics question by question for students.

Mental maths is included and I will provide exam tips as the 11+ can be stressful. I currently attend The Latymer School as I passed the 11+, hence I would like to help other students do the same.

Through each lesson I will provide feedback after and track where students make mistakes in order to guide them towards success. This will include keeping a note of common errors, weaker topics and timing issues which can be fixed over time. Additionally as students are answering questions I will keep note of the time taken to try measure if they are within a reasonable time limit. Many students tend to struggle with exam technique which I can most definitely help with!

Each lesson will take place on either zoom or Google meet, whichever benefits the student more.
