I have taught more than 2,000 ESL students from East and South Asia, the Middle East, North and South America, Africa, and Europe over the past 15 years. Working with learners from so many different cultures has taught me how to quickly build rapport and create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident participating and asking questions.

I believe that making mistakes is an essential part of learning. Students should feel comfortable trying, experimenting, and sometimes getting things wrong without fear of embarrassment or judgement. My role is to guide and support that process through clear explanations, patient encouragement, and constructive feedback.

My lessons are highly interactive and focus on active participation rather than passive memorisation. I use a variety of online resources, games, and targeted activities to help students understand and retain new concepts. I also encourage students to attempt tasks independently before receiving support, as this develops confidence, critical thinking, and long term learning.

Mistakes are corrected calmly and respectfully through modelling, guided practice, and discussion, helping students improve their accuracy while maintaining confidence in their ability to communicate.
