I am a PhD student in Chemistry with experience teaching undergraduate laboratory classes. My lessons focus on helping students understand concepts rather than just memorising procedures. I usually begin by explaining the key ideas in a clear and structured way, adapting the explanation to the student’s level and learning goals.

After introducing the concepts, I like to use an active learning approach. This means we work through problems together, discuss reasoning, and apply the theory to real examples. I encourage students to explain their thinking and ask questions, which helps identify misunderstandings and build confidence.

My aim is to help students develop independent problem-solving skills, especially in chemistry topics such as reaction mechanisms, analytical techniques, and data interpretation. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are preparing for exams, improving their understanding of chemistry concepts, or building confidence in the subject.
