Chemistry, Physics, and Biology are fascinating subjects (at least in my opinion!), but they require both a strong understanding of fundamental concepts and the ability to apply them to unfamiliar problems. That's exactly what my tutoring is centred around.

Having studied and worked across Singapore, Hong Kong, the US, and the UK, I've been exposed to a range of teaching styles and educational systems. I use that experience to adapt my lessons to each student's learning style, focusing on building genuine understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills rather than memorisation alone.

I am a BSc graduate from the University of Michigan, where I received a First-Class Honours equivalent degree in Biochemistry. During my time there, I supported university-level students in introductory Physics and Chemistry courses, helping them develop their understanding of challenging concepts and apply them to problem-solving. Prior to this, I also provided tutoring support to secondary school students, helping them strengthen their foundations in science and build confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student, combining clear explanations, guided practice, and exam-style questions to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop a deeper appreciation for STEM subjects!
