I am passionate about helping others succeed in their studies and believe strongly in making science education accessible, engaging, and confidence-building.

I’m excited to work with you, help build your confidence in your academic abilities, and make the learning experience enjoyable along the way! I understand that every student learns differently, and I’ll adapt my teaching style to suit your needs and help you reach your full potential.

Throughout my degree, I’ve gained academic and industrial experience in complex research environments, including a placement as an Analytical Chemist at AstraZeneca and a research project at the Centre for Nanoporous Materials. These opportunities have strengthened my technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and—most importantly—my passion for communicating complex scientific ideas in a way that’s clear and meaningful to others.

Mentoring has played a central role in my academic journey. I’ve supported both A-level and university-level chemistry students, offering help with exam preparation, industrial placement applications, and subject understanding. I focus on creating a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and supported as they build both knowledge and confidence. Several of the students I mentored successfully secured placements, which was incredibly rewarding.

I am also a Registered Scientist with the Royal Society of Chemistry, which reflects my commitment to professionalism and high standards in communication and scientific practice.
