My focus for GCSE tutoring is tailored to the individual student and the stage at which they are at in relation to the broader course. I emphasise both content and exam technique, making close reference to exam board specifications and paying attention to students' requests, strenghts and weaknesses. From my extensive experience tutoring and mentoring in history, French and English language and literature, I have a range of resources that my students have found useful in unlocking the particular challenges of each subject and in really tapping into the expectations of examiners. I seek above all to build students' confidence in their own abilities and to make sure that they feel prepared and secure in advance of their examinations.
