I am actually a French Canadian who has also lived for years in France. I am familiar with both accents and cultures and even some others and can teach you the French you'd prefer.

I have myself learnt many languages, starting with English, and I keep working on learning new ones. I also observe in my current work how students are learning French as a second language. I know the challenges associated with learning a language as an adult, and I will be patient and completely non-judgemental. I have experience speaking with people whose native language is not French and myself with speaking in a second or third language.

I have worked as a tutor for children in French, helping them with their French classes, and now as a language assistant in England, helping teenagers learn French.

My lessons can take different forms in function of your needs. We can start from the beginning, reinforce what you already know, enrich it, or simply practise certain precise aspects like conversation. The best way to advance will be to work in between lessons with simple exercises and exposure to French through media.

Whether you simply want to be able to get an elementary French or a refined one, I can help you towards that goal.

If you're a beginner, we will not be aiming for perfection but for concrete goals and noticeable advancements that will give you confidence and allow you to speak right away.

If you are already advanced, I will gladly help you with the sometimes complex French grammar, pronunciation, understanding of quick native talking, and advanced vocabulary.
