When tackling French exams, what has always helped me is tackling speaking, listening, reading and writing each at a time with regular, targeted practice.

Speaking:
- GCSE and A-level speaking exam practice
- Practice conversations based on exam topics
- Pronunciation - including the distinction between French and English vowels and consonants
- Parts of the lesson taught in French (A-level)

Listening:
- GCSE and A-level listening exam practice
- Listening to pre-prepared podcasts and news clips then answering comprehension questions

Writing:
- GCSE and A-level written exam practice
- Writing practice based around the exam content
- Grammar exercises and teaching
- Translation practice

Reading:
- GCSE and A-level reading exam practice
- Pre-prepared texts with comprehension questions


Each lesson will include all four of these skills and will be tailored to your current ability and goals, therefore being targeted at the parts of French that you may be finding the most difficult.

Additionally, each lesson will include learning new words and phrases as well as a dedicated focus on an area of grammar, providing the foundations needed to succeed in your exams.

As well as improving your French, I can share insight from my own exam experience, such as time management, tackling exam question wording and avoiding common mistakes.

I offer constructive feedback, providing tips to improve between lessons that will boost your confidence and make the French language come more naturally to you!

All revision materials will be provided, enabling you to continue practising independently and making progress between lessons.
