My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and tailored to each learner's needs, goals, and current level. I begin by assessing a student's strengths and areas for development, then design lessons that are engaging, interactive, and focused on measurable progress.
In English lessons, I use a combination of reading, writing, vocabulary-building, grammar practice, and discussion activities to develop both confidence and competence. Drawing on my background in cognitive neuroscience, I incorporate evidence-based learning strategies such as retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and active engagement to improve understanding and long-term retention. I provide regular feedback, encourage questions, and create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.
