Advert description
*1. Start with where _you_ are*
I don’t jump straight into the lesson. First we figure out:
- *What do you already know?* No point re-teaching it
- *What’s confusing you right now?* That becomes our starting point
- *Why does this matter to you?* When it connects to your goals, it’s way easier to learn
*2. Explain it 3 ways*
Everyone learns differently, so I mix it up:
- *Simple explanation*: Break it down like I’m telling a friend. No jargon first
- *Example + Visual*: Show it with a real example, diagram, or analogy. For a baby photo edit = "background is like the wallpaper, baby is the furniture"
- *Do it together*: I guide you through 1 problem, then you try the next one
*3. Practice with feedback*
- *You try*: Small questions, not a huge test
- *Mistakes are good*: We learn more from them. I’ll ask "why do you think that happened?" instead of just correcting
- *Build up*: Easy → medium → challenge. So they feel progress
