Advert description
Hey there! My name is Bakhytgul. I’m originally from Kazakhstan, from the city of Almaty. Last year, I received permanent residency in Slovakia, and I’m now based in Bratislava. After moving to Europe, I became really drawn to the concept of slow living. I’ve brought the same approach into my teaching: in my lessons, we don’t rush to “chase results.” Instead, we learn to enjoy the process itself. And the results do come — calmly, naturally, and without unnecessary stress. Teaching English started as a hobby for me. I’ve been learning English independently for many years, and I can confidently call myself a self-made English teacher. I’m constantly learning and developing myself, and I truly believe that a good teacher is someone who never stops growing. I have 3 years of experience teaching English. I work with both adults and teenagers and help students with different goals — English for everyday life, work, relocation, and personal development. Over the years, I’ve come to understand some of the most common challenges learners face: being afraid to speak, lacking confidence, and feeling like you “know the language, but just can’t speak it.” In my lessons, English is a part of real life. We watch films and TV series, discuss videos and Instagram and TikTok reels, send voice messages, and read articles, news, and books in English. Every student has their own goals. And my goal is to support you, listen carefully, really hear you, help you work on your mistakes, and gradually take away the fear of speaking. My lessons are a good fit for adults who: — are afraid to speak English — have studied English but never really started speaking it — need English for everyday life, work, or relocation I genuinely believe that learning English can be easy. The key is to understand the logic of the language and study consistently. Once the language starts to make sense, confidence comes naturally. A little about my background: when I was in 7th grade, I received funding for my achievements in English and had the opportunity to attend an English summer camp in Hastings, England. That experience became an important turning point for me and made me fall even more in love with the language.
