I am an English teacher from the United Kingdom, with over ten years of experience. I teach online and in person, from young learners to working professionals.

My career has focused on preparing students for IELTS and the Cambridge exams, from KET and PET through to FCE, CAE and Proficiency. I know how the papers are marked and where candidates lose marks, so lessons concentrate on the sections you find hardest, with timed practice under exam conditions. Nothing on the exam day will be new.

I also teach Business English, having run corporate courses for Gazprom, Estrella Galicia, KPMG and others. We cover meetings, presentations, negotiation, email and reports, using material from your own work.

I can teach students at all levels, including beginners, and I am happy to spend whole lessons on pronunciation, fluency and speaking confidence. I hold a BA in History from Lancaster University, a 120 hour TEFL certificate renewed in 2025 and a current DBS check. I have taught in the UK, Russia, Italy and Spain, and I speak some Russian.

I have a wide range of materials and books that we can study from together, gathered over many years. That means I can build a course around your goals and adjust it as you progress.

The first lesson is a short assessment. I find your level, ask what you need the English for and by when, then we will create a plan.
