Enthusiastic and passionate A-Level and GCSE French tutor

I have fifteen years of experience in teaching French from Year 3 to Year 13. In 2024 and 2025, the pass rate among students I tutored in GCSE French was 100% (grade 5 - grade 9).
I have a very good knowledge of the new AQA GCSE French and the A Level French specifications, as well as the Edexcel GCSE and iGCSE French syllabuses. I also have experience teaching the literature and film study element of the A Level French specification, having taught texts and films such as "Au Revoir les Enfants", "Candide", "Un Sac de Billes" and "La Haine". I am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and I have a MA in Translation Studies.
I am an online tutor. My approach is to tailor lessons to your particular goals and areas for improvement, building your confidence in a range of key skills and providing tips and strategies to tackle examination style tasks, or helping you with conversation practice and vocabulary building. I will also give you personalised feedback to help you to achieve your targets.
