I’m a Biochemistry student offering tuition in Biology up to GCSE, helping students build confidence and knowledge

I’m Issy, a Biochemistry student at the University of Edinburgh with A* and A grades in Biology and Chemistry at A Level, and a strong passion for science. I offer personalised tuition in Biology up to GCSE level.
Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A Levels, I understand the challenges students face and know what it takes to achieve top grades. My lessons focus on building a deep understanding of key concepts, improving exam technique, and developing confidence. I break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and use practice questions and active recall to reinforce learning.
I tailor every lesson to the individual student. My teaching style is friendly, patient and encouraging, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
